What is Star Trek?
Star Trek includes four television series, eight motion pictures, hundreds of episodes
in rerun, dozens of novels, thousands of memorabilia and collectibles, 30 years of
history, and millions of fans, but it is also much more than that.
Star Trek is a glorious vision of the future, not so far that it is pure fantasy, but
far enough that we have a lot to work toward.
